We dig through the secondhand book stalls under Waterloo Bridge and pick something for each other based on the cover alone.
Along the river
We walk east along the river toward Borough, stopping whenever something looks interesting. No fixed destination yet.
Padella
We end up at Padella for hand-rolled pasta. Worth the queue, and the pici cacio e pepe is the one to order.
