We catch the late express boat out toward the islands and watch Bergen shrink behind us as the fjord opens up.
Lerøy or Buarøy
We get off at a tiny island stop, walk past wooden boathouses, and find a rock to sit on while the light goes gold.
Bare Brygga back in town
Back on the mainland late, we duck into a harbour spot for fish soup and a glass of something cold before walking home.
